Väike sits on the esplanade at Sellicks Beach, a quiet coastal stretch around 45 kilometres south of Adelaide. The name means “little” in Estonian. The home has two loft bedrooms with skylights, a full kitchen, indoor lounge, and a generous deck beneath a heated pergola with uninterrupted views across the water.

This is the kind of place where mornings slow down. Coffee on the deck with the ocean catching the light. Evenings in the outdoor bath as the sky changes. Sellicks is unhurried by nature, and Väike fits that exactly.

A small footprint, with every detail considered

You enter through a front sliding door beneath the pergola. Inside, the kitchen doubles as a bar overlooking the sea, the kind of detail that makes a small space feel intentional rather than compact. The indoor lounge sits alongside it, with natural light coming in from above.

Both bedrooms are loft spaces, each with skylights that frame the stars at night and fill the room with morning light. The full bathroom is downstairs. Everything is within reach without anything feeling crowded.

The outdoor deck is where most of the living happens. Wide enough for a full dining setting and a BBQ, sheltered by the heated pergola, with the ocean directly below. The outdoor bath sits here too, alongside a hot outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach.

Such a great location, so good to be so close to the beach. The only thing is it’s not as private as the photos look, it’s pretty much out the back of their other Airbnb. Still so lovely though, the interior is gorgeous. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Liat’s place. The space was thoughtfully designed and every part of the tiny room was used so efficiently. The addition of the closing pergolas outside made it feel much less cramped while still maintaining great privacy. One of our favourite parts was looking up at the stars through the sunroof at night. It was such a lovely and unique touch.

Clarissa's tiny home was beautiful and in a peaceful location. It had everything you needed with a lot of extra appliances added which made it very comfortable. We loved that her home was pet friendly, with a great enclosed outdoor area attached to the tiny home suitable for our dog to sleep. We would love to come back again!
